Dish soap is probably one of the worst things you can use on your car.  Think about what dish soap was designed to do………………it was designed to cut grease and it does this with abrasives.  So every time you use dish soap on your car you are essentially scratching the paint of your car minutely.  Eventually it will really dull the paint of your car so it isn’t a good idea.  If you go and buy soap designed specifically for cars you don’t need very much and it will last quite a long time.

Washing your car with dish soap would be like using soap to wash your face instead of a moisturizing soap designed specially for your face.
